Why Clayton

When we first introduced KJ to Clayton's Omaha World Herald's news article (July, 2004), we prayed for him and then KJ wanted to keep the article up in his room. About a week later, he told me he wanted to meet Clayton and take him a present. We picked up a little gift card, made a few calls, and tracked him down at a Hy-vee store in Council Bluffs. He was selling tootsie rolls for the Boy Scouts!

We just fell in love with Clayton's spirit and stayed in touch and have become friends. We've had good times at the zoo, Church outings, and holiday visits!

Clayton is a VERY confident young man. He is now 14 years old and has many
hopes and dreams. So this year, we dedicate our time and love to him.

Clayton has obvious obstacles to overcome. As he approaches high school, his
school says he could greatly benefit from having the same school computer and program in his home. In addition, we would like to assist Clayton with future surgeries.
